Queens Teacher's Decision to Bar Malcolm X Reports Sparks Outrage

Malcolm X preached a conservative message to the black community to be self-reliant.  That’s a 100% in contradiction to today’s faux black leaders who encourages black folks to be dependent on government programs.
NY 1 reports a Queens school teacher's decision to not allow student reports on Malcolm X for Black History Month has spurred outrage among parents and local leaders.  Parents at P.S. 201 in Kew Gardens Hills were outraged when a technology teacher told fourth grade students they couldn't choose Malcolm X for a writing assignment about prominent black leader Malcolm X for Black History Month.

"My son came home and said, 'Guess what dad, the teacher said we can't write about Malcolm X because he was quote unquote bad,'" said Frank Brown, a parent.
Unlike Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X rejected non-violence and said black people should respond to racism by any means necessary to achieve their rights. He was assassinated in 1965.

Brown says his son has read this book about Malcolm X many times, and he and his wife just bought another copy for the teacher. Parents say the teacher acknowledged using the words "bad" and "violent" but said she felt information about Malcolm she found on a website was not age appropriate.

"My son came home with that negative stain on his brain that Malcolm X was a bad, violent man," said Angel Minor, a parent.

Clearly the teacher in question is totally ignorant of what Malcolm X was all about.  He’s one of my favorite black leaders that stands out for his conservative message of being self-reliant and not dependent upon government.  No black leader today teaches that today and the African American community is suffering the consequences.

The Sarcasm Report v.185

The blue line shows the annual average of the St. Louis Fed Financial Stress Index and the Kansas City Financial Stress Index.

The red line shows the negative of the annual average of the real S&P 500 Index (December 2013 dollars).

1. The key to maintaining the stock market's currently lofty level is to keep the financial stress at a near record low. That's right. Keep it there permanently. Just say no to stress.

2. The key to maintaining the financial stress at a near record low is to keep the stock market at its currently lofty level. That's right. Keep it there permanently. Just say no to stress.

What could possibly go wrong with this circular reasoning strategy? As seen in the chart, there hasn't been this little financial stress in the system since the top of the housing bubble in the mid 2000s! Oh, what a carefree time that was!

I am very optimistic about our long-term future!! ZIRP! Employment growth! Real GDP growth! Real median household income growth! Uncharted territory growth! You name it! It's going to be an adventure.

ASX bets on derivatives clearing

"We don't even celebrate trillions any more," the Englishman recently elevated to the top job of global clearing house LCH Clearnet, told The Australian on a recent visit to Sydney.

It's not quite so flippant a comment as it might seem. The arcane world of over-the-counter derivatives such as interest rate swaps that Davie inhabits turns over $600 trillion of notional value a year, so a trillion is not far off being a rounding error.

This concludes the sarcasm report.

Finally a first post from NYFW!!!
My first day in NY and also first day of Fashion Week  was such a blast. The day has started with the powerful Max Azria runway show and ended with Erin Fetherson fabulous presentation ( in between I also saw the Marissa Webb show stopper and Jay Godfrey presentation). A recap of my favorite looks from all the shows and presentations will follow in the next days.
Now a few words about my outfit: I was wearing a black overalls (I have a jumpsuit/ overalls crush moment right now and you'll see a few more soon) paired with a floral biker jacket, a turtleneck striped top and a green coat.
Stay tuned for more NYFW news, outfits and favorite looks from the runway.

Hollywood reporter confuses Samuel L. Jackson for Laurence Fishburne ‘We don’t all look alike!’

This is mildly amusing has Jackson makes the anchor scrum for making a mistake.
NY DailyNews reports Samuel L. Jackson had a very important message for news anchor Sam Rubin: "We don't all look alike!"

The "Robocop" star was mistaken for Laurence Fishburne during a KTLA interview that aired Monday, an error Rubin will likely never forget.
"Did you get a lot of reaction from that Super Bowl commercial?" the TV anchor asked.
"What Super Bowl commercial?" Jackson asked bewildered.
Rubin can be seen looking off camera stunned and embarrassed. As he attempted to continue the interview, Jackson quickly interrupted and went on a two-minute tirade.
"You're as crazy as the people on Twitter," the 65-year-old actor said. "I'm not Laurence Fishburne. We don't all look alike. We may be all black and famous, but we all don't look alike. You're busted."

As Rubin tried to apologize, Jackson interjected again.

"You're the entertainment reporter for this station?" he asked. "And you don't know the difference between me and Laurence Fishburne? There must be a very short line for your job."

Police hunt for killer who gunned down popular Virginia music teacher Ruthanne Lodato, serial killer may be involved

This is a scary situation that has Alexandria residents on edge.
Fox Newsreports police in Virginia are hunting for a bearded killer who gunned down a piano teacher in her home in a case that bears similarities to two other unsolved murders in the same quiet neighborhood.

Virginia authorities, as well as the FBI, are investigating the murder of 59-year-old Ruthanne Lodato, who was shot to death when she answered a knock at the door of her Alexandria, Va., home.

Alexandria Police Chief Earl L. Cook said at a press conference Friday that detectives were "looking at any similarities" between the death of Lodato and the November 2013 killing of Ronald Kirby, the director of transportation planning at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, and the 2003 shooting of a sheriff's wife, Nancy Dunning.

SILVER price set to rise toward $100

SILVER and GOLD making headlines

Demand for SILVER and sales already rising

The U.S. MINT continues to break all time sales records as their published statistics show plainly with their sales of American Silver Eagles.  Other mints both government and private are reporting increased sales and concerns with keeping up with sales demands are rising.  So are the prices rising rapidly as a growing amount of collectible numismatics that have limited mintage often double in value.

Analysts who specialize in GOLD and SILVER such as the well known and recognized Sprott Asset Management are covering these developments closely and their funds the PHYS, PSLV, and SPPP are starting to show signs of increased investor interest.

John Embry has calculated that $100 silver is not far away:

WATCH THE CHARTS

There's all manner of evidence that something is stirring in the GOLD and SILVER commodities and a sector shift with MINING STOCKS will be noted at any moment.  Already it's been apparent that various funds and stocks are rising such as:  GLD, SLV, IAU, GDX, PHYS, PSLV, NUGT, UGLD, USLV, AUY, NEM, SLW, SWC, and various other mining stocks and related gold and silver funds and futures contracts.

NOTICE THE ROUND OUT FORMATION ON THE CHARTS BELOW.  Chart analysts are already showing this as a sign of the bottom in prices:

What's really going on with GOLD and SILVER?

That's hard to tell for those of us not on the inside as our elected representatives in Congress are, but The News UNIT is monitoring the situation very closely and will be posting time sensitive information critical to investors, traders, and even stackers.

Some say a MAJOR SHORT SQUEEZE is about to occur in the GOLD and SILVER markets.  There are also reports that large amounts of hoarding metals is occurring in Dubai, various Arab nations, Asia, and the far East.  We are also starting to hear the war drums beating between the U.S.A. and Iran and who knows who else will be included in the coming global conflict.

Nevertheless, financial survival will be a very growing concern, especially here in America as our debt ridden nation coupled with the criminal administration, lawless lawmakers, and all manner of oath of office violators wreaks havoc on we the people.

It's financial survival time; and probably worse.  Stay informed!

BOEHNER: OBAMA Exempts Corporations, Not Families from the horrors of ObamaCare

John Boehner reacts to President Obama delaying the corporate mandate another years.  In typical Boehenr style, his response is underwhelming.

House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) released the following statement after the administration announced that the president has again unilaterally altered the implementation of ObamaCare.

“Once again, the president is giving a break to corporations while individuals and families are still stuck under the mandates of his health care law. And, once again, the president is rewriting law on a whim. If the administration doesn’t believe employers can manage the burden of the law, how can struggling families be expected to? This continued manipulation by the president breeds confusion and erodes Americans’ confidence in him and his health care law.  We need fairness for all, with relief from ObamaCare for every American.”

It would be nice if John Boehner had the stones to say that President Obama doesn’t have the authority to willy nilly change the healthcare law without an act of congress.  But, that would be asking too much of Boehner to man up!
