When it comes to prints I don't hesitate to pair two of them in one outfit. Probably it sounds bold but it doesn't look that powerful. In this case I added a bright color that complements the stripe and leopard prints and now I can see a little bit of contrast, exactly the way I like it.
Both of the printed items are on my list of favorite/ timeless pieces from Lulu's.com and I think that both of them are - must- have- items- to own.
Is it too much for you two prints and a bold color, all in one outfit?

This is one way in which I like to wear pastels: sort of monochromatic way. I don't try to match them, but I certainly look to find colors that are on the same chromatic level. As you can see this dusty blue from the coat with the dusty green from the pants are very close as tone and to complete the look without adding another pastel color I chose grey to unify them. Instead of adding a bold accessory I added a bold color with my shoes to complete the look.
It is all about the color scheme!

Officially I'm joining the ladies who covet the Celine grey boots but instead of breaking the bank they are happy buying a more affordable version from Zara -one more reason to love Zara! -

As I told you in the previous outfit post, I had the pleasure to take a closer look at BCBG Max Azria, Herve Leger and BCBGeneration Fall preview collections. This was the reason that I came back so soon in the Big Apple (after my birthday).
After I saw Herve Leger show at NYFW and missed the BCBG Max Azria show, this preview was exactly what I was looking for. Nothing compares with taking a closer look at the collections and seeing all the details. I have a full post about it soon.
