I
'm not a wedge shoe girl but I don't exclude them from my radar either. Last Sunday I was looking to wear something light, between casual and chic and I opted for these white wedges that I bought a while ago.
Sweaters are comfy-cozy-great for weekend days so I created a white graphic look, especially because the weather allowed me to not wear a jacket.
A pinch of color it was the perfect finish and I was good to go for some necessary Sunday shopping!

Women In Bakersfield Initiate National Action To Push For U.S. House Vote On Immigration Reform

Hundreds of women including children took over the Office of Congressman McCarthy to demand that a bipartisan immigration bill be introduced for a vote on the floor of the U.S. House.

November 6, 2013

Bakersfield, CA - On Wednesday, more than 100 women including children went into the Bakersfield Office of U.S. Representative Kevin McCarthy (R), the majority House leader to demand that he bring to the floor a bipartisan immigration reform bill for a vote. The women gathered outside and inside McCarthy's office in Bakersfield, according the United Farm Workers Union (UFW) who organized the mobilization. UFW says, it's the start of a three day national movement by women to push for a vote of a pending bipartisan immigration reform bill.
Recently, three GOP members in the House decided to sponsor an immigration bill and they're Jeff Denham, (R-CA),  Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, (R-FL) and David Valadao, (R-CA).
UFW announced in a news release, that Wednesday's action seeks to push for a vote on a bipartisan bill. More than 100 people protested, including immigrant women who bear the brunt of the failures of the current immigration system. The action kicks off three days of women-led coordinated actions in key Republican House member districts across the country. These actions constitute the escalation of women-led action for immigration reform, in which women across the country have been mobilizing for comprehensive immigration reform that includes a path to citizenship and addresses the unique needs of women, children and families, the UFW reported.
In Chicago, nearly 120 immigration reform activists including public elected officials were cited by police in the afternoon for blocking the Loop on Clark Street for about an hour. Other activists protested in front of the Chicago Immigration and Customs Enforcement building. Both rallies on Wednesday were planned to push the House GOP to vote and pass an immigration reform bill.
On November 8, a major push in other cities across the nation will also engage in action to force members of the GOP majority controlled House to address and pass an immigration reform bill before the year ends. Civil disobedience action by women will take place, according to organizers.
Unfortunately, any hope of introducing and passing a just comprehensive immigration reform bill in the U.S. House for the remainder of the year is dead. The U.S. Senate's immigration bill that was passed earlier is destine to expire as the year comes to an end.
In the last days of October, a major push by Republican business owners, law enforcement and corporate CEO's to influence conservative House Republicans to support an immigration reform bill seems to have failed.
The U.S. House 113th second session begins on January 3, 2014, which could include new elected members of the House. It was believed that at least 28 GOP House members would support an immigration reform bill with a path to citizenship for at least 11 million of undocumented immigrants in the U.S. Recently, three House Republicans joined Democrats in sponsoring a bill. If an immigration bill would have been introduced and debated earlier, it would have had at least  228 votes, including the 28 Republicans surpassing the 218 votes needed to pass a bill. But House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-OH) and majority leader Congressman McCarthy (R-CA) have failed to bring up a similar version of the Senate immigration reform bill that would have had a bipartisan support. No bill has been introduced in the House nor is it expected to be voted on before the 113th first session ends.
One key initiative that hasn't been adopted yet by the organizers nationally is a 16-day economic shutdown, which would allow Hispanics and supporters for immigration reform to control their $2T spending and buying economic power to influence change.
An immigration reform bill is definitely needed, including another to reshape and reorganize the most known corrupt immigration enforcement agency, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The U.S. Congress, the Obama administration, U.S. Department of Justice and ICE have failed to hold accountable those agents and supervisors that deliberately violated the rights of undocumented immigrants. Many ICE violation cases have been exposed and documented. Lawsuits have been filed by defendants and ICE have lost many of them for engaging in illegal activities and violating department policies. But ICE continues to denied any illegal activity or rogue agents that act outside of the law.
Another fact is that ICE continues to detain and deport undocumented immigrants in the U.S., which the agency was designed to do. But in recent years, ICE has engaged in illegal activity in many parts of the country. One significant case was the Moises Roger Mory-Lamas case in 2010, where Mory-Lamas was forced by three ICE agents to go to a Peruvian consulate and made him sign an ACT document to be removed from the U.S. Mory-Lamas was in the process of trying to get legal status.
Mory-Lamas accused, Peruvian Consul Beoutis, and three ICE agents identified in the ACT signatures as Juan Mezarina, Oscar Torres and James Laforge of violating his rights, under immigration law and the U.S. Constitution.
A Peruvian citizen has a right to enter a Peruvian Consulate for official purposes, but with U.S. agents as escorts is considered illegal, and they have no diplomatic status to sign such an Act inside the Consulate, considered foreign soil.
ICE agents deported Mory-Lamas to Peru, despite a pending immigration appeal case and a petition for amnesty, including residency and work authorization until 2011.
In November 2010, Mory-Lamas received a letter from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) in his residence in West New York informing him of an interview for November 16, but he was all ready deported on September 9.
Mory-Lamas had fought and challenged his deportation for more than 11 years.
ICE spent more than $400,000 in the Mory-Lamas case alone, including flight passages for two ICE agents to accompanied him to Peru.
ICE isn't suppose to deport anyone while in the process of getting legal status. In the Mory-Lamas case, ICE deported Mory-Lamas, despite any pending case to seek legal status.
ICE deportation data indicates that a majority were deported for non-criminal offenses contradicting the ICE current priorities. ICE's has said, that only those deemed to be a threat to the U.S., gang members, violent and drug related criminals are being deported. ICE has become the most corrupted agency engaging in rogue criminal activity in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and its agents are never sanction, discipline, terminated or convicted of violating the Constitutional rights of detainees by coercion, illegal acts, warrant less home invasions including arrests at private properties and U.S. County courts. The U.S. Congress has yet to investigate such gross violations by ICE and to implement laws to hold ICE agents and its supervisors accountable for many widely documented and reported illegal acts by ICE agents.
Recently in Bakersfield, CA, the ICE office based agents have been illegally arresting non-criminal immigrants at the Kern County Court Houses while paying traffic citations, attending court hearings or getting married, according to the ACLU. The ACLU also claims that ICE agents have been arresting suspected undocumented immigrants in Santa Clara, CA County courts without warrants as in Kern County.
In Tucson, Arizona, an Operation Streamline Court managed by ICE gets to convict between 80 to 180 of undocumented immigrants at once. An immigration judge sentences all to 30-130 days in jail at private immigration prisons before they are removed from the U.S. Not1More activists who staged a protest in early October and blocked several immigration buses transporting undocumented immigrants to the Streamline Court say, the immigrants are denied due process, appeals, legal advice by attorneys or family members including the Mexican Consulate.
In 2012, a total of 409,849 were deported including 184,459 non-criminals; in 2011, 391,953 were deported including 203,571 non-criminals and in 2010, 385,100 were deported including 215,444 non-criminals were removed from the U.S. under the Obama administration.

Is Congress finally getting serious about spending and the debt?

Is Congress finally getting serious about spending and the debt?

The Congressional Fiscal 2014 Budget Conference Committee met for the first time last week. It is a bipartisan, bicameral committee that includes all members of the Senate Budget Committee, and the Chairman and Ranking Members on the House side, is about even politically, with 15 Democrats and 14 Republicans, but is heavily weighted towards the Senate, with 22 senators and seven representatives.

The budget reform panel was mandated in the bill that raised the debt ceiling and ended the government shutdown, and has until December 13 to find a budget compromise or face the likelihood of another government shutdown in mid-January when funding for the government runs out.

The group is reportedly focused on finding ways to replace across the board spending cuts, known as sequestration, with more sensible reductions in federal largess.

Representative Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) is chair of the joint committee, and in opening remarks said that the debt held by the public has doubled in just the last 5 years and is only getting worse. It’s a drag on the economy, he said. With 10,000 Baby Boomers retiring every day, Medicare and Social Security are going broke.

The debt, he said, hurts economic growth and job creation, and noted the message from the Congressional Budget Office, which warned that if something isn’t done soon, there will be a debt crisis. “We’ve got to get a handle on our debt, and we have got to get a handle on it now,” he stated, and the way he believes we must work our way out of this is through tax reform, including getting rid of carve-outs and kickbacks, and through a growing economy, and not by raising taxes.

The federal budget is a huge mess. In FY2013 the federal government took in revenue of $2.8 trillion, but spent $3.5 trillion, and owes $17 trillion to debt holders.

This compares to a family of four that earns $36,000 annually, but spends $45,000 each year and has accumulated debt totaling $219,000. This family clearly needs to cut down on its spending.

But the federal government cannot do that. At least not if we believe House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Cal.), who said in an interview in September on CNN’s “State of the Union” that “The cupboard is bare. There’s (sic) no more cuts to make. It’s really important that people understand that.”

Ms. Pelosi is apparently unaware that the federal government spent your tax dollars on such important things as exotic dancers, robotic squirrels, studying pig poop, and a reality TV show in India. And she also doesn’t know about the Government Accountability Office estimate of roughly $17 billion of improper Medicare payments each year, or the billions of dollars of mismanagement, corruption, and wasteful spending in federal housing subsidies, and the fraud and abuse in the food stamp program, school lunch, and child care programs, and in Veteran’s Affairs.

Maybe she’s forgotten that we pay people with our tax dollars at the NSA to record terabytes of information about us, and IRS employees to harass Republican/conservative organizations applying for non-profit status, and federal SWAT teams to kick down the doors of people whose student loans are in arrears and besiege a mine operation in Alaska to check for compliance with the Clean Water Act.

And then there are the 31 areas of spending on duplicative federal programs, spelled out in a report by the Government Accountability Office that waste billions annually, such as at least 23 different federal agencies running hundreds of programs to support renewable energy, and the 29 Department of Homeland Security contracts that partly or completely overlapped with research being done by another part of the same department.

Despite these examples of waste, fraud and abuse, and also despite the record $2.8 trillion in revenue the federal treasury collected in FY2013 – which provided President Barack Obama the opportunity to claim credit for a sizeable reduction in the annual budget deficit – Nancy Pelosi thinks that in negotiations about debt reduction “revenue needs to be on the table.”

But, no, Ms. Pelosi. You and your big spending comrades don’t get another dime.

Before the middle class or even the wealthiest Americans are further burdened with additional taxes, the federal government needs to get its act together and start operating efficiently. It must eliminate the billions of dollars in waste, fraud and abuse, and eliminate duplication.

Taxes should be evenly applied and high enough to support only essential government services. And, the most important word in that concept is “essential.”

Congress must get rid of carve-outs and kickbacks, eliminate pork barrel projects, stop the unconstitutional passing of Congressional responsibility to Executive Branch agencies, and restrict legislative activity to necessary and useful laws.

And the federal government must begin to operate with an attitude that demonstrates the obligation every federal worker – from the President of the United States, to Cabinet Secretaries, to Members of Congress, to the lowest paid employee – owes to the people they work for, the taxpayers. Perhaps then each of them will earn through job performance the high status some of them assume they are due “just because” they hold a high elective or appointed position.

Bears Fan Charged With Felony After Tasing Packer Fan Wife Over Bet

John M. Grant and Nicole Grant

Mayville, WI - On Tuesday, John M. Grant, 42, of Tinley Park, Illinois was charged in Dodge County with one felony count of illegal possession of an electronic weapon. Grant is a Bears fan who allegedly used a taser on his wife, Nicole Grant who is a Packer's fan after the Packers lost to the Bears on Monday night.
A Mayville police officer responded at 2:38 a.m. on Tuesday to a call at Dan's King Pin on 31 N. Main Street where a woman identified as Nicole alleged that her husband had tased her three times after the Bears-Packer's game. Nicole showed burn signs of being tased twice in her buttocks and once in her thigh.
According to Nicole, she told the officer that the tasing incident happend outside the Side Lines Tap, 111 S. Main Street after the game. In the complaint, Nicole said that she didn't consent to being tased and filed a no consent form with police.
When police talked to Grant, he initially said, that Nicole had smoked marijuana earlier and that someone else at the bar had tased her when they were passing the taser around. He later admitted that they had both made a bet and who ever lost the bet, one would tase the other who lost the bet.
Police checked Nicole's text messages and video on her cellphone and then determined that she had agreed to be tased, if the Bears won. Nicole's no consent form was voided.
Police searched a semi-truck owned by Grant and found a black electronic device (taser). Police learned that Grant did not have a conceal and carry (CCW) permit for Wisconsin or any other state. He was taken into custody and charged with illegal possession of an electronic device. His bail was set at $500 cash. If convicted, Grant is facing six months in jail and $10,000 in fines.
Grant is expected back in court on December 4 for a review hearing and on January 9, 2014 for a preliminary hearing.
Only those who are granted a conceal and carry in the state can carry and have possession of a taser or any state resident of lawful age without a CCW can own and keep a taser at home.

one room challenge - week 6 aka the reveal!

Week six is finally here and I have crossed the finish line. Picture me squirting gin water all over my face. Wahoo!

I've said it before but it should be said again - six weeks is not as long as it sounds and I was down to the wire on this project. It can be confirmed that I am a down to the minute girl.

But enough jabbing, let's get to the pictures. I won't do much talking today (as hard as that is to believe), I'll just show the goods. Oh, with one note - this is a basement AKA - NO light. And no matter how many 'learn how to use your camera' tutorials I pin, I just don't have the patience. So be kind. A professional photographer I am not...obviously.

As a reminder, here is where we started six weeks ago.

Here was my inspiration board for the space.

And here we are today.

The old office table from Goodwill and my mis-matched chairs have all gotten a paint job and are ready for lots of arts and crafts. The chalkboard was mine growing up and got a fresh coat of red paint (the girls' color choice).

Clearly I am not a chalkboard artist, but the girls are. The quote is my new mantra. I'm going to use it to justify my consistently messy house.

I planked the back of the bookshelves to coordinate with the plank wall and then filled them with my blue and white overflow and lots 'o books. The numbers on the left are old score board numbers I got at a church yard sale years ago and represent our anniversary - May 20.

I made those pillows. With a sewing machine. Its true. Not a big deal to most but a huge accomplishment for me. I am still amazed.

The old $8 chairs got white denim slipcovers (perfect to wash when needed) and look so very good. I am in love with their skirts. And they looks smashing with their Goodwill makeover lamps.

The dollhouse was made years ago by a family friend and was passed down to the girls when my niece went to college. The sign that hangs above is from my grandparent's farm. The same farmhouse where the 'homework chair' that sits over at the creative station came from.

The girls are big into photos (mostly of themselves) so I took an old metal tray and turned it into a magnetic photo board. Push pins often end up on the floor and then stuck in someone's toe (that would be mine) at our house so magnets sounded like a safer bet. Now we can switch, add and rearrange on a whim. And trust me, we have a lot of whims at our house.

The coffee table got a fresh coat of paint and a new plexi glass - aka unbreakable - top. And I'm madly in love with the indoor/outdoor rug. It feels great, looks great and takes a beating like a champ.

So there she blows. All done and being trashed by the girls as we speak. Just as it should be. I'll be sharing more details, sources, and tutorials over the coming weeks so be sure to stay tuned. And thank you all for following along. I hope you had as much fun as I did.

A special huge thank you to my dear friend Linda for including me on this fun adventure, and to all my fellow challenge mates. Excellent work ladies!

Please take time to look over all of their beautiful spaces. This is a fun day!!

Vilash Files Lawsuit Against Banda LimĆ³n After She Was Fired For Indecent Behavior

Mexico - Andrea Vilash, the former star reporter for Paranoia TV in Mexico has filed a lawsuit for getting fired from her job after a video was loaded up in October on the Internet and YouTube showing her lifting her dress and taking of her G-string undergarment in front of 17 band members and then giving it to a band member to smell. She was terminated because of her indecent behavior during an interview.
Vilash even asked the band members, if they could handle her. The actual video was recorded in March, but was released in October, which went viral on the Internet.
She said, that she would take one piece at time for each answer to a question that was granted by the group.
The video shows band members grabbing her buttocks and lifted her dress as another other attempted to pull down her G-string. Vilash was finally persuaded to take off her undergarment while being video taped and cellphones cameras clicking on the action.

Tennessee Woman Craving Mickey D's Runs Over Boyfriend With Pickup Truck

Crystal Greer Brook

Woman arrested by Kingsport police for taking boyfriend's pickup truck and running over him three times for not stopping at a McDonald's restaurant.

By H. Nelson Goodson
November 5, 2013

Kingsport, Tennessee - Last Wednesday,  Police in Kingsport arrested Crystal Greer Brook, 33, of Kingsport just after midnight and charged her with aggravated assault for striking her live in boyfriend, Santiago HernĆ”ndez, 41, with his 2002 S10 Chevrolet pickup truck multiple times. Kingsport Police Officer Dennis Hickman responded to an incident at the 400 block of W. Carters Valley Road just after midnight and found HernĆ”ndez with abrasions to his arms and back and a torn clothing "consistent with being dragged on the pavement."
According to the police report, Francisco HernĆ”ndez told police that Brook, Santiago and him had gone out drinking and then decided to stop at a restaurant to get something to eat. The choice of restaurant ignited an argument between Brook and Santiago who was driving. Santiago stopped at a different restaurant, which Brook didn't agree with. She wanted some McDonald's.
Brook made her boyfriend stop the truck. While he got out and went to the front of the truck, Brook slided over to the driving wheel and accelerated striking and knocking Santiago HernƔndez over and then ran him over several more times. Brook denied that she ran over Santiago, but Francisco who accompanied them confirmed to police that Brook had been upset that Santiago didn't want to stop at Mickey D's to get something to eat.
She told Officer Hickman that Santiago had "jumped on top of the hood" and denied that she struck him with the pick-up truck. Officer Hickman determined that Brook was the aggressor and arrested her.
Santiago survived the incident and Brook ended up in jail without having any McDonald's.
Officer Hickman gave Santiago who spoke little English a domestic violence form to fill out and drove him to a friend's house where he spent the night, according to the police report.
Both Brook and Santiago HernƔndez have a child together, according to Officer Hickman.

Congressman GutiƩrrez will no longer work with the National Immigrant Youth Alliance and the DREAMActivist dot org.

By H. Nelson Goodson
November 5, 2013

Washington, D.C. - On Monday, the Office of Congressman Luis V. GutiĆ©rrez (D-IL) announced that GutiĆ©rrez will no longer work with the National Immigrant Youth Alliance (NIYA) and their affiliated advocates at DREAMActivist dot org. The latest decision by GutiĆ©rrez shows a deep division and a difference of strategy to deal with immigration reform between immigrant rights groups.
Douglas Rivlin, spokesman and Director of Communication for Rep. Luis V. GutiĆ©rrez says, that on Monday, representatives of the National Immigrant Youth Alliance (NIYA), DREAMActivist dot org, and the DREAM 30 sat-in at the office of Congressman Luis V. GutiĆ©rrez (D-IL) in Washington, D.C.  One activist, Marcela Espinoza, 28, from Illinois, who was recently released from detention in El Paso, Texas at the request of Congressman GutiĆ©rrez, was removed from the office of Congressman GutiĆ©rrez for refusing to leave until the Congressman spoke personally with President Obama and secured the release of other detainees.  Espinoza was arrested for unlawful entry by Capitol Police and two other activists left the office voluntarily.
Rivlin in a news release says, that Congressman GutiĆ©rrez met privately with the parents of some of the young people in detention in El Paso last week in Washington; a meeting that was frank, emotional, and confidential.  But that meeting was also recorded surreptitiously by NIYA, without the knowledge of the parents, the Congressman or his staff.  It is unfortunate that the actions of the advocates in this case are preventing this office from being able to work with parents and family who are understandably and rightly concerned for the safety of their son or daughter.
The illicit tape recording of a confidential conversation was the latest chapter in a long and difficult relationship with NIYA and its leaders.  The NIYA leaders have expressed their strong opposition to immigration reform and don't believe a bill will pass this year. They have also expressed disturbing racism, and have put young people in harm's way, according to GutiĆ©rrez.  In talking with the families, the Congressman and his staff believe that the parents and families were being manipulated by NIYA and its leaders and were not well informed about the law and the legal process.
GutiĆ©rrez is warning parents that these actions can hurt the chances that young people will be able to return to the United States or live legally in the United States.  Only one in ten asylum cases like these are approved and a deportation or removal could put future legal status in doubt.  Congressman GutiĆ©rrez continues to fight for the ability of DREAMers and their parents to remain in the U.S. or to enter legally, if they have been removed or left the United States.
The Congressman's staff had been working with the Department of Homeland Security and the attorney for the detainees to help secure their release.  The Congressman's staff has also communicated directly with a number of the parents, siblings and supporters of the detainees in the past several weeks, according to Rivlin.
Also arrested was Marco Pacheco, of Texas, who refused to leave the office of Congressman RubƩn Hinojosa (D-TX) and another DREAMer Brandol Pahuamba was arrested later in day at the office of U.S. Senator Bob MenƩndez (D-NJ). Both Pacheco and Pahuamba were arrested for unlawful entry, according to police.
The DREAMers wanted legislators to intervene in the deportation process of eight members of their group known as the DREAM 30.  Eight DREAMers are awaiting deportation and 21 have been freed pending the outcome of their legal status.  Rocio HernĆ”ndez PĆ©rez, 23, has been deported after leaving the U.S. and then attempting to reenter the country with more than 30 DREAMers at the Laredo International border crossing from Mexico. The DREAM 30 had applied for asylum, but were arrested and sent to an El Paso, Texas ICE processing center.
NIYA released the following statement in response to GutiĆ©rrez accusing them of manipulating undocumented families. NIYA states that they haven't worked with GutiĆ©rrez months before September 2012, "Since the launch of the #BringThemHome campaign, members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, especially Rep. Cuellar and Rep. GutiĆ©rrez have stuck to one talking point: the families of the #Dream30 are being manipulated by the National Immigrant Youth Alliance. We have always found this analysis to be horribly off and, at its core, very dehumanizing. Rep. GutiĆ©rrez wants YOU to believe that if a “Mexican” finds his or her way to his Capitol office to ask for something, then he or she must be being manipulated. The only place a “Mexican” must know is in the back of someone’s kitchen or office, doing back-breaking work. We find Rep. GutiĆ©rrez’s statements to be absolutely dis-empowering and a disservice to the real power of the undocumented community."
"As the National Immigrant Youth Alliance, we are the only national network that is led entirely by undocumented youth. The decisions as to what we work on and the direction in which we go are completely in line with the needs of the undocumented community. That is the reason why we have already, purposefully infiltrated several detention centers and have had members willingly return to Mexico in an effort to bring home other exiled DREAMers. As NIYA, we ultimately lay our faith in our own community, and believe that an empowered community is more powerful than other organizations at accomplishing its goals.
"Given Rep. GutiĆ©rrez’s recent posturing, it is all the more evident to us that to those like him, an empowered community that dares to make an ask of him is a very dangerous thing. In the role that Mr. GutiĆ©rrez has carved out for the “Mexican,” they are only expected to get involved in politics when he is on one of his many national church tours. Their only role is to fill his pews, provide tears for the cameras so that he, as the “Moses of the Latinos” can once again “tell us” how bad deportations are. But once they begin forming their own political opinions and demanding more than just the scraps from the table, can only mean they are being manipulated," NIYA stated.

Barking Up the Wrong Tree

That dog don't hunt.

Unless the long-term trend changes, it would seem that about the only logging we'll be doing in the distant future will require a username and password.

Here’s the Report That May Have Prompted The Lumber Liquidators Raid

Conservation groups say forests in Russia’s far east are known for large scale illegal cutting operations. Illegal logging brigades comb forests for high-quality varieties like Mongolian oak and Korean pine, cutting down trees in the middle of the night and passing them along to illegal saw mills. From there, traders mix the illegal wood with legal wood and Chinese manufacturers use fake documentation to smuggle so-called black wood out of Russia to sell to Western retailers.

The Economy Is Accelerating

The following chart shows real manufacturers' nondefense capital goods (excluding aircraft) new orders per capita (September 2013 dollars).

It is accelerating almost exactly like a baseball would after it has been hit up into the air. Pardon my language, but gravity's a bitch.

The Future of Advertising Is Here (Musical Tribute)

The following was a comment left for me on the last post.

Definitely believe that whih you stated. Your favourite justification seemed to be on the internet the easiest facftor to understand of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while other people consider issues that they just don't recognize about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as smartly as defined out the whole thing without having side effect , other folks can take a signal. Will probably be again to get more.

Turing Test

The Turing test is a test of a machine's ability to exhibit intelligent behaviour equivalent to, or indistinguishable from, that of a human. In the original illustrative example, a human judge engages in natural language conversations with a human and a machine designed to generate performance indistinguishable from that of a human being. All participants are separated from one another. If the judge cannot reliably tell the machine from the human, the machine is said to have passed the test.

Human? Machine? You make the call.
