The Concept Of Time And The Moment We Call "Now"

GOTCHA-Phoenix robbery suspect identified as Mario Edward Garnett killed by police, massive manhunt cross country crime spree sought by FBI, U.S. Marshals and other law enforcement

This was a very bad dude!  It’s a shame he’s a military vet.  But, somewhere along the line he went bad!
AZ Centralreports the man shot and killed by a Phoenix police detective during a Saturday bank robbery has been identified as the suspect in a cross-country crime spree that includes the death of a Mississippi police officer and multiple bank robberies, law enforcement officials said Sunday.

The investigation involved local, state and federal agencies, including the FBI, U.S. Marshals Service and Tupelo police, as well as a national media campaign to generate tips from the public. At one point, there was a reward of up to $200,000.

The bloody exchange Saturday in Phoenix brings to a close a week-long manhunt for Mario Edward Garnett, 40, the man police said is responsible for an attempted bank robbery in Atlanta and a bank robbery in Tupelo, Miss. that led to the killing of Tupelo Police Department Officer Gale Stauffer and wounding of fellow Officer Joseph Maher.

The man killed in Phoenix Saturday was identified Sunday as Garnett, a four-year US Army veteran. He was shot by a Phoenix police detective during a robbery and subsequent shootout at about 10 a.m. Saturday at the Compass Bank near 34th Avenue and Thomas Road, Phoenix police said. Law enformcment officials from the FBI confirmed on Sunday that Garnett is the man suspected of committing the other crimes.

Phoenix Police Department spokesman James Holmes said a witness waiting in line at a drive-through fast-food restaurant across the street from the Compass Bank called 911 at 10 a.m. and said he spotted a masked man going into the bank.

Garnett, who was wearing a mask, pointed a weapon at the manager and ordered him to open the teller drawers while demanding everyone else get on the ground, Holmes said. At one point, he had the manager and one of the tellers open the vault.

Police said Garnett left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Political Cover for Hillary Run bid 16: New York Times falsely says Benghazi was 'fueled in large part' by YouTube video

Everything about this bogus report from the corrupt New York Times screams “political cover” for Hillary Clinton’s assumed presidential run in 2016.  The NY Times is dutifully doing their part as damage control/public relations experts to try and remove the Benghazi milestone around her neck!
Washington Examiner reports a controversial article from David D. Kirkpatrick of the New York Timespublished Saturday has received quite a bit of attention for claiming,
"extensive interviews with Libyans in Benghazi...turned up no evidence that Al Qaeda or other international terrorist groups had any role in the assault."

The terror attack in Benghazi on September 11, 2012 claimed the lives of U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, Foreign Service officer Sean Smith, and former Navy SEALs Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods.

New York Rep. Peter King said that Kirkpatrick's assertion is "misleading," as reported by Fox News, in that Ansar al-Sharia, an extremist Islamic group who are widely known to be behind the attack, is "believed to be an affiliate terror group of Al Qaeda."
Ironically, the New York Times reported in October, 2012,

"In the months leading up to the Sept. 11 attacks on the American diplomatic mission in Benghazi, the Obama administration received intelligence reports that Islamic extremist groups were operating training camps in the mountains near the Libyan city and that some of the fighters were 'Al Qaeda-leaning,' according to American and European officials." [emphasis added]

Kirkpatrick does not mention this report, in which he was a contributor, in his article on Saturday.

He also does not mention the attack on the CIA outpost in Benghazi just three months before the Sept. 11 attack.

VIDEO:Issa Disputes NYT Whitewash Benghazi Report

Once again the NY Times is acting as defense counsel for the Obama administration instead of objective journalists.  They have no credibility whatsoever!

Talking Points Memo reports chairman of the House Oversight Committee Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) on Sunday disagreed with some of the conclusions in the New York Times investigation on Benghazi, specifically that the attack was fueled in part by an anti-Islamic American video.

"It was never about a video," he said on NBC's "Meet the Press."

The New York Times did not find any evidence throughout its investigation that al Qaeda was involved in the attack, even if other regional terrorist groups carried out the attack.
Issa has claimed that al Qaeda was involved in the attack, and still claims that a group affiliated with the terrorist organization founded by Osama Bin Laden attacked the U.S. consulate.

"There was a group that was involved that was affiliated with al Qaeda," Issa said. "It is not about al Qaeda as the only terrorist organization."

David Kirkpatrick, the journalist who authored the Times report, said on Sunday that even if the attack was carried out by an anti-Western terrorist group inspired by al Qaeda, it was not organized by al Qaeda itself.

"There's just no chance that this was an al Qaeda attack," Kirkpatrick said on NBC's "Meet the Press." "It was an armed terrorist attack motivated in large part by the video."
