Former Georgetown teacher’s aide Kelvin Daniel Fuller accused of breaking student’s wrist

There’s always two sides to a story.  But, side doesn’t look good.
Statesman reports police have arrested a former Georgetown teacher’s aide accused of breaking a student’s wrist after the boy threw a marker at him at Forbes Middle School, according to a warrant.

Kelvin Daniel Fuller, 53, was charged with injury to a child. Georgetown police were informed about the incident on Nov. 25, the warrant said.

An 11-year-old boy told investigators Nov. 27 that Fuller intentionally pushed him to the ground at school, causing the boy to break his right wrist, the warrant said.
The boy said he was upset and “intentionally irritating” Fuller, according to the warrant. He said he was in front of Fuller’s desk when Fuller walked toward him and pushed him in the chest with his hand, the warrant said.

The boy told investigators he fell backward on his right arm. Another student witnessed the incident and told investigators the same story as the injured boy, the warrant said.

Fuller did not want to answer certain questions when a police officer interviewed him on Dec. 18, the warrant said. “It appeared to me that Kelvin was not comfortable answering certain questions about his anger issues and past employment with other school districts,” the warrant said.

Ex- Redlands teacher Laura Elizabeth Whitehurst convicted of having sex with 3 of her student inexplicably released from jail early

Her initial one year sentence was a joke to begin with.  But, now she gets out even earlier.  This is ridiculous!
LA Timesreports a former Redlands schoolteacher convicted of having sex with three of her students, and who gave birth to a child fathered by one of the teens, has been released from San Bernardino County jail after serving six months of her one-year sentence.

Laura Elizabeth Whitehurst, 29, was released Jan.5, according to jail records. In addition to wearing a GPS monitor, Whitehurst is required to register as a sex offender. Whitehurst was sentenced under a plea deal reached with the San Bernardino district attorney's office that resulted in her 41 felony charges reduced to six. She had faced up to 29 years in prison.
Whitehurst must remain on probation for five years and undergo counseling. If she violates the terms of probation, she could spend more than six years in prison.

After Whitehurst was arrested in July 2013, she pleaded guilty to engaging in sex acts with three boys while teaching at Citrus Valley and Redlands high schools. She also pleaded guilty to four counts of unlawful sexual intercourse and two counts of oral copulation of a person under 18.

San Bernardino County Judge Arthur Harrison agreed to the plea despite objections from the victims and their families. The father of Whitehurst's child, who was 16 at the time, asked Harrison to reject the deal, saying he had been subject to manipulation and countless sexual assaults.

"Physically, I feel sick to my stomach thinking about the manipulation I was subjected to," said the teen father of her child. "Physically sick that I was not the only victim. Physically sick that I am one of the very few here today putting a voice and face to the destruction Ms. Whitehurst has caused.

"And physically sick that Ms. Whitehurst is facing minimal consequences for her stomach-turning violations of me and other boys," he continued.

Chris Christie bullying tactics come back to haunt him: Uncovered Emails to his Office to GWBridge-gate

I’m not going to shed a tear over RINO Chris Christie.  However this scandal shakes out, Christie’s temperament as a possible president of the United States is in question.  The bully gets his payback!
The Record / Herald News reports Breaking a day of silence as the George Washington Bridge controversy mushroomed, Governor Christie issued a terse, four sentence statement late Wednesday in which he claimed to have no knowledge that his deputy chief of staff and two of his top executives at the Port Authority were involved in a vindictive effort to create “traffic problems in Fort Lee” by shutting lanes leading to the world’s busiest bridge. -

Electronic messages between the three Christie loyalists are replete with references and insults to Fort Lee’s mayor — who had failed to endorse Christie for re-election — and they chronicle how he tried to reach Port Authority officials in a vain effort to eliminate the paralyzing gridlock that overwhelmed his town of 35,000, which sits in the shadow of the bridge.

The documents obtained by The Record raise serious doubts about months of claims by the Christie administration that the September closures of local access lanes to the George Washington Bridge were part of a traffic study initiated solely by the Port Authority. Instead, they show that one of the governor’s top aides was deeply involved in the decision to choke off the borough’s access to the bridge, and they provide the strongest indication yet that it was part of a politically-motivated vendetta—a notion that Christie has publicly denied.

New Jersey Governor Christie Facing George Washington Bridge Closure Scandal

Chris Christie

Christie now says, he was misled by head governor's office staff about alleged involvement in the deliberate closing of the George Washington Bridge scandal.

By H. Nelson Goodson
January 8, 2014

Trenton, New Jersey - On Wednesday, Governor Chris Christie (R) released a statement that his deputy chief of staff had misled him in the September 9th George Washington Bridge (GWB) lanes closure scandal. Two of the three lanes were unexpectedly shut down that caused traffic to backup for three hours during the first day of school.
In a statement released by Christie on Wednesday, he said, "What I've seen today for the first time is unacceptable. I am outraged and deeply saddened to learn that not only was I misled by a member of my staff, but this completely inappropriate and unsanctioned conduct was made without my knowledge. One thing is clear: this type of behavior is unacceptable and I will not tolerate it because the people of New Jersey deserve better. This behavior is not representative of me or my Administration in any way, and people will be held responsible for their actions."
Newly released e-mails have surface discussing the closure of the bridge weeks before it actually happened. An e-mail dated September suggested it was time "for some traffic problems in Fort Lee."
The personal e-mails were between Brigette Anne Kelly, the chief of staff of Christie's office and Port Authority appointee David Wildstein and close friend of Governor Christie. Wildstein resigned in December over the GWB scandal. Also another Christie appointee, Bill Baroni, the deputy executive director of the Port Authority resigned in December.
On Thursday, Wildstein is expected to testify before the Assembly Transportation Committee about the GWB scandal.
The e-maile were obtained the the Asbury Park Press and information was reported in The (Bergen) Record.
Governor Christie had insisted that the three hour long lanes closure were of a result of a traffic study and tha t his staff were not involved. At least 300,000 vehicles cross the GWB on a daily basis.
The GWB lane closures were initiated as a retribution against Fort Lee Mayor Mike Sokolich (D) for not endorsing Christie's bid for re-election for Governor in 2013, according to critics.
New Jersey State legislators are looking into whether Governor Christie lied and knew of the planned lane closures at the GWB or he actually didn't know. Indicating that he doesn't know what is happening at his own office and would not be fit to run for president as a GOP candidate in 2016.
Christie has said, that he would not launch an investigation into the recent scandal in his own office.

Yasiel Puig arrested by Florida trooper

Watch the threatening criminals

Isn't it amazing how these troopers want to scream at people while leaving the car door open.  You're more likely to get killed at a traffic stop by passer by vehicles...not to mention the risk of being tasered.

So here's one of America's baseball players getting arrested in Florida for a driving violation.

WHAT REALLY HAPPENED?  It's hard to tell.  Doesn't seem to be all that threatening.  But in America today you have to create revenue and manufacture criminals for the prison industrial complex.

The guy that walked out of the car was lucky he wasn't shot.

Governor Walker Opposes Raising The Minimum Wage, Which He Believes Only Effects Kids Working At Fast Food Joints

Chuck Todd and Governor Scott Walker

Wisconsin Governor Walker draws criticism for being out of touch with jobs and how minimum wage only affects teenagers at fast food joints.

By H. Nelson Goodson
January 8, 2014

Madison, Wisconsin - On Monday, Governor Scott Walker in the Ed Schultz's Show on MSNBC admitted that minimum wage only effects young kids working at fast food restaurants. He compared himself and U.S. Congressman Paul Ryan as working for minimum wage at McDonald's when they were just kids and starting out in the workforce.
When asked, if he favored raising the minimum wage? Walker said, "No, when I started just like Paul Ryan down the road from me working at McDonald's. Jobs that involved minimum wage, or overwhelmingly jobs for kids starting in the workforce..." Walker's comment drew criticism by commentators and Wisconsin Democrats.
"Scott Walker defends his opposition by commenting that minimum wage jobs are largely held by kids, like when he and Paul Ryan worked at McDonald's as teenagers. And I definitely agree that kids who need and want to work should get the opportunity to do so. But right now what's an even greater concern is the fact that, due to the anemic job growth we've seen in Scott Walker's Wisconsin, more and more adults with families are relying on minimum wage jobs in industries like fast food and retail - often without access to paid time off and health insurance."  WisDems Chair Mike Tate stated.
Walker opposes raising the minimum wage, but in Wisconsin and around the nation the median age for employees working at fast food joints is 29. About 26.6% of them are raising a child or family and today can't even affort health insurance.
In Facebook and other social networks, one of the most popular comments posted about Governor Walker's belief that minimum wage only affected kids earned him the label "idiot." Will Walker out live the idiot label, only time will tell, since, the GOP believes Walker will be a candidate for president in 2016.

Owning Up to the Obamacare Lies: Liberals are finally admitting, quietly, that conservative critiques were right all along.

The dirty big secret is that ObamaCare rollout was supposed to be screwed up exactly the way Obama wanted it so he can propose single payer system to fix it.
National Review reports those who have elected to keep close tabs on the reactions to Obamacare’s blotchy rollout will presumably have noticed that it has been marked by admissions of guilt. The latest such confession comes from The New Republic’s Noam Scheiber, who bluntly conceded yesterday that

“Obamacare actually paves the way toward single payer.” Pushing back against Michael Moore’s unsettling criticisms of the law, Schreiber tweeted:

This, Scheiber made sure to explain, was not an accident, and nor was it merely a dose of post hoc optimism. Obamacare, he claimed, is in fact “a deceptively sneaky way to get the health care system both of us really want” — that is, single payer. And “Republicans are in some sense playing into the trap Obamacare laid for them.”

I honestly do not know whether Scheiber’s prediction is correct. When government wishes to expand itself, it is tough for people to resist, and the instances are legion of people who wanted a little change but were subjected instead to a lot. Still, I suspect that this will not be the case with Obamacare. For a start, the rollicking disaster that has been the law’s launch will now be projected into every home each and every time an expansion of government is suggested. And, disappointingly for the movement that spawned the change, Americans appear to be reacting to it by concludingthat government should henceforth have less — not more — to do with health care. Either way, whatever happens in the future, I do know this: When Republicans have written their own version of Scheiber’s column, complaining that Obamacare is but a “deceptively sneaky way to get” to single payer, they have been immediately denounced for hysteria and mendacity and invited to remove the tin foil.
