Another Southern TV Star Taken Down
A Commentary by J. D. Longstreet
*****************
So now one can no longer express one's religious belief, huh?
By now we have all heard of the latest Southern TV star's fall from the public's grace as a result of his honesty. He made the mistake of honestly expressing his opinion -- reference homosexuality -- to the press, and now he is being publicly pilloried.
"Phil Robertson, patriarch of the “Duck Dynasty” clan, is being slammed for controversial comments he made about homosexuality in an interview in the January issue of GQ.
When the reporter asked Robertson what he found sinful, he said “Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men." SOURCE: http://nypost.com/2013/12/18/duck-dynasty-member-slammed-for-comments-on-homosexuality/
As a southerner myself, I have no problem understanding where Mr. Robertson is coming from. That is to say, we both hail from the same culture -- southern culture, which is a way of life centered around the Holy Scriptures. Yeah, it's a "southern thing." (It's not solely a southern thing, but it sometimes seems such.)
And yes, we in the south are less tolerant of homosexuality than most any other region of the US.
"A report from November 2012 suggested that there had been a new, and rapid shift in support of equal marriage in the US, except in some southern states, such as Texas and several other nearby southern states which had remained opposed to the idea of same-sex marriage.
In terms of regions opposed to equal marriage, the south leads in that respect. South Atlantic and South Central states showed a majority of voters as opposed to equal marriage, where in the latter, which includes Texas, 56% of voters opposed it, versus 35% for." SOURCE: http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2013/12/09/new-york-times-study-names-mississippi-as-state-least-tolerant-of-gay-people/
Generally speaking the more conservative religious denominations of the South teach the following: "Love the sinner. Hate the sin."
As a subscriber to the Christian faith, I believe homosexuality is a sin forbidden by God. In the scriptures we are told that God, himself, said to His people Israel, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination" (Leviticus 18:22). "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them" (Leviticus 20:13). In these passages homosexuality is condemned as a sexual perversion. It is considered a “Prime Sin.” As a Christian I cannot change how God views homosexuality and I cannot turn my back on it and say that, well, times have changed, and God must change, too. THAT is, in my opinion, blasphemy.
Now, before some of you point out the obvious, that this scripture is from the OLD Testament; I give you Saint Paul’s view of Homosexuality from the NEW Testament. (Paul is the Apostle credited with bringing the Christian faith to the Gentiles of the world.) Paul wrote a letter to the people of the Christian church in Corinth. In that letter Paul said the following: “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10- nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.” SOURCE: 1 Corinthians, Chapter 6.
It could not be any clearer. Homosexuality is condemned in the scriptures just as murder, adultery, premarital sex, kidnaping, lying, and idolatry are condemned.
For a bible-believing-southerner, those words are written in stone -- especially for those of us who share the same generation, a generation now approaching, or exceeding, our allotted three score and ten years of life.
Seems to me that Mr. Robertson is being persecuted for practicing his constitutional rights of free expression of religion -- and -- free speech. However, here in post-constitution America, it has become the norm to deny practitioners of the Christian faith the same rights guaranteed all Americans.
I was not surprised, in the least, at the suddenness and the ferocity of the attack upon Mr. Robertson. In fact, I was expecting it.
We Americans have allowed political correctness to infect our land to the point that we are awash in vileness.
In an article dated April 8th, 2011, ABC News reported: "An estimated 9 million Americans -- or nearly 4 percent of the total population -- say they identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender, according to a new report released this week from the Williams Institute, a think-tank devoted to LGBT research at UCLA." SOURCE: http://abcnews.go.com/Health/williams-institute-report-reveals-million-gay-bisexual-transgender/story?id=13320565
Four percent of the US population. Only four percent -- and yet they wield so much power.
The "arbiter of all things" will eventually settle this matter as He always does. Judging from His earlier pronouncements about the issue, I have no doubt what His ruling will be.
As I consider my country today, I often think that the people of ancient Sodom and Gomorah would be embarrassed by the hedonist behavior of our nation.
And we wonder WHY our nation is in such terrible straits??

H2TC Website Forum Reveals Children Rented Or Sold For Sex Pleasure Via Morelia
Underground website "Hard 2 The Core" subforum reveals users discussing fantasies and sexual exploitation of children ranging in ages from 1 to 11, which could be rented for $4K or can be bought as sex slaves for only $10k.
By H. Nelson Goodson
December 19, 2013
Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico - Mexican hackers have found an underground website called "Hard 2 The Core" (H2TC) where anonymous users can register by signing up to join and participate in various discussions, not limiting the sexual exploitation of children. Under a subforum on Child Sex & Prostitution, a user identified himself as "Horny Ivan" discusses how he paid more than $30k, for two children ages 2 and 6 and a 4-year-old girl. Each of the children were sold for $10k each and had to pay extra after they died from sexual abuse at a ranch that Ivan owns. The girl was also shared with a friend of his, which both sexually abused the child until she died.
Horny Ivan told other users interested in renting a child either a boy or girl between the ages of 2 to 11 for sexual pleasure that each would cost $52,000 pesos ($4,000 U.S.) to rent a child and $130,000 pesos ($10,000 U.S.) to buy a child. The children apparently won't be missed by anyone, if they're accidentally killed or murdered during sex acts. The children are provided for the absolute pleasure and to fulfill any sexual fantasy of the buyer, according to Horny Ivan. Ivan says, he had used the service at least five times and had sex with infants from one year old to 8-years-old, but three of them died from sexual pleasure and agony. Having this type of sexual addiction can break your bank, if your not careful, Ivan explained.
The Michoacan hackers notified the Mexican National Security Council and the Federal Police cybersecurity office about the website and the subforum discussions of renting and buying children younger than 11-years-old, including death as an end result of the brutal sexual abuse endured by the victims.
The H2TC discussions also reveal that the trafficking of these children extends to Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Oaxaca and Morelia. Arrangements by human traffickers can deliver the children at any hotel or home, at any city and state possible, provide a cellphone just in case they have to disappear quickly, if the child dies during the sex acts, according to the posts.
Another user adviced others not to use Mexico City as a delivery place to act out their sexual fantasies with children, but to use coastal rural towns or cities where less police anti-sexual exploitation of children exists.
The Mexican authorities have not indicated, if any children have been actually killed during the sexual encounters with demented pedophiles. But Horny Ivan began using another user name, "Babysnuff2013" to continue discussions on H2TC website.
On December 9, Fausto Vallejo Figueroa, the Governor of Michoacan held a press conference to announce that an investigation has been launched to dismantle an organized pedophile network working out of Morelia that has been using the internet to post and exchanging photos of underage children on an underground website to traffic children for sexual exploitation. Figueroa acted after the Michoacan hackers exposed the Morelia underground pedophile network that is using the Internet to traffic children for sex.
Figueroa stated, that the Michoacan justice department, the Federal Police and Mexico's Attorney General's Office are working together to dismantle the pedophile network in Michoacan.

Winter Pastels
This is one way in which I like to wear pastels: sort of monochromatic way. I don't try to match them, but I certainly look to find colors that are on the same chromatic level. As you can see this dusty blue from the coat with the dusty green from the pants are very close as tone and to complete the look without adding another pastel color I chose grey to unify them. Instead of adding a bold accessory I added a bold color with my shoes to complete the look.
It is all about the color scheme!

New York teacher Gregory Kenney’s lawsuit claims lesbian boss fired him because she disapproved of his ‘traditional family status'
The LBGT mafia along with their allies in the progressive movement hates traditional families. The nuclear family is a concept Gays work very hard to destroy for political and social reasons.
Fox Newsreports a married, heterosexual gym teacher at a tony Upper West Side private school was fired because his lesbian supervisor disapproved of his “traditional family status,” the canned teacher claims in a new Manhattan lawsuit.Gregory Kenney, 50, taught gym at the Trinity School on W. 91st St. for 16 years before he was let go in June 2012.Kenney, who lives with his wife and three young children in LI, says he was a well-liked employee at the elite institution that counts Truman Capote, Ivanka Trump and Eric Schneiderman as alumni, until a gay athletic director named Pat Krieger took over in 2009.Krieger allegedly forced him to coach three sports, even though his contract only required him to join two teams, according to his reverse discrimination suit. When he complained that the extra responsibilities interfered with his family obligations Krieger allegedly told him, “We all make choices,” the suit says. After Kenney told Krieger that he couldn’t keep working nights and weekends, she reported him to the headmaster “while a single, female teacher faced no scrutiny when she refused to coach a third season.”Kenney claims the allegedly biased athletic director “routinely favored other single, younger females without children and discriminated against [him] because of his gender, sexual orientation, ‘traditional family status,’ and age.”

Family of Georgia student Sam McNair suspended for teacher hug files appeal
I really hope they win because a 1 year suspension for a hug is insane!
CNN reports the family of a Georgia student suspended for the rest of the school year for hugging a teacher has filed an appeal with the school board, the teen's mother told CNN on Wednesday night.
Sam McNair, a 17-year-old high school senior in Duluth, Georgia, was suspended December 3 for sexual harassment.Surveillance video captured the hug in question, showing Sam placing his arms around the teacher and giving her a hug. The teacher then pushes him away.McNair told "Piers Morgan Live" that he had hugged that teacher at Duluth High School before."Four or five times," he said. "I hug all my teachers. It's to show appreciation for what they do for me."He denied that the teacher had told him before to not hug her again. He also said that his lips and cheeks definitely didn't touched the teacher's neck, as is alleged in a discipline report obtained by CNN affiliate WGCL.In a statement earlier this week, Sloan Roach, a spokesperson for the Gwinnett County Public Schools, told CNN, "Hearing officers consider witness testimony, a review of the known facts, and a student's past disciplinary history -- including long-term suspensions that result in alternative school placement -- when determining consequences."More here

Duck Dynasty's Robertson and Momma Moose Palin...
by: Les Carpenter
Rational Nation USA
Liberty -vs- Tyranny
It is astounding to many that this country, given all it's really important issues and problems (the national dept, deficits, the (Un)Affordable Care Act, crony capitalism, off-shoring of business activity, the shrinking middle class, etc.), still finds time to fixate on Duck Dynasty's outspoken bigot Phil Robertson and Momma Moose Sarah Palin's support of Robertson's bigotry.
However one may view it there is no question it diverts attention from real issues of importance. Driven by the the now dying old guard relics that yearn for a return to the era they grew up in Mamma Moose Sarah Palin is trying to equate the suspension of a bigot by a private business entity as suppression of free speech. Apparently what she hopes is all of us are as ignorant of the 1'st amendment as she is.
Free speech as enshrined in our Constitution was meant to insure the right of free and uncensored political speech could not be infringed by the government. Its purpose was to prevent the government from censoring opposing political viewpoints.
Certainly people are entitled to their opinions and have the right to make them verbally and or in writing. Hopefully there are few if any Americans who wold dispute this. Robertson and Momma Moose Sarah Palin certainly have the right to express their views no matter how bigoted and offensive they may be to others so long as they can find an outlet willing to give them an audience.
The decision to suspend Robertson was made by a private business concern based solely on what it believed the ramification could be to its legitimate business interests. The decision had nothing to do with hate or the desire to stop free speech. It was a business decision made by executives that are acutely aware that the opinions expressed by Robertson could have a negative effect on viewership of A&E and thus negatively impact their bottom line. In a free capitalist market that us libertarians all profess to want this is adecidedly desirous thing. Were it the government taking police action to silence Robertson then the concern expressed by Momma Moose Palin would indeed be valid and I would be penning an entirely different viewpoint.
That's my take, what say you?

POLIICO - Sarah Palin says the suspension of one of the stars of the show “Duck Dynasty” over recent anti-gay comments he made is an attack on free speech.
Palin re-posted a picture of her meeting with the stars of the A&E show on her Facebook page Wednesday night, writing that “intolerants” were behind the suspension of the show’s patriarch, Phil Robertson.
“Free speech is an endangered species. Those ‘intolerants’ hatin’ and taking on the Duck Dynasty patriarch for voicing his personal opinion are taking on all of us,” Palin wrote.
Earlier this month, Palin met the cast of the show when she was in Monroe, La., on her book tour and posted several photos of their time together to her Facebook page.
Robertson was suspended on Wednesday by A&E after comments he made in an interview with GQ.
“We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty,” A&E said in a statement, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely.” {Read More}

India's Supreme Court Re-Criminalizes Gay Sex
India is a nation of a billion people. Contrary to what the corrupt American media reports, homosexuality is condemned worldwide under the beliefs of Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and other religions.
The Huffington Post reports the Indian Supreme Court has reversed the July 2009 ruling of the Delhi High Court decriminalizing gay sex between consenting adults. In doing so, the Indian Supreme Court has re-criminalized gay sex in India, rendering almost 20 percent of the global LGBT population illegal.Overturning a High Court decision, the Indian Supreme Court upheld Indian Penal Code 377, an archaic and barbaric law that criminalizes "homosexual" acts:377. Unnatural offenses -- Whoever voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal, shall be punished with imprisonment for life, or with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.More here
