Two teens 13 and 14 killed, one injured in Christmas night shooting in Newark

The shooting carnage continues in the city of Newark which is gaining a reputation as being known as Little Chicago.  But, that didn’t stop Corey Booker from getting elected senator, did it?

NY Daily News reports two teenagers were killed and another seriously wounded in a shooting late Christmas night in Newark, according to law enforcement authorities.

A 13-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl were shot dead, Newark Police Director Samuel DeMaio and Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray said in a statement to the Star-Ledger.

The shooting took place about 10 p.m. on Schley St., near the Irvington border.

The two teens were pronounced dead at University Hospital, while the third victim remained in critical condition. Their names were not released.
