Victim hospitalized after Waterfront shooting at Steak 'n Shake in Munhall, shooter at large

Pittsburgh Post Gazette reports a person was shot in the head tonight at Steak 'n Shake, a restaurant at the Waterfront shopping complex in Munhall, county police said.


The victim was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, Allegheny County police Lt. Andrew Schurman said.
The incident was reported to police at 8:10 p.m.

Police are searching for a white, early 2000s model Pontiac Bonneville with tinted windows in connection with the shooting, an Allegheny County dispatch supervisor said.
County and Munhall police are investigating. No other information was immediately available.

Reporters who went to the scene were told they could not be on Waterfront property.
