Ralph Kiner had a tremendous impact on the lives of myself and other Mets fans. Trough him I leaned the finer points of the game as well as having a witness who had seen the all time greats like Babe Ruth and Ted Williams. You couldn’t get a better education anywhere in the world and Ralph Kiner’s word pictures made it possible.
RIP, Ralph! You were the best!
