Human rights worker was kidnapped from his office by armed commando.

Santiago Juxtlahuaca, Oaxaca, Mexico - On Saturday, the body of Herón Luciano Sixto López, 43, was found around 3:00 p.m. in a field in San Sebastián Tecomaxtlahua, according to Victor Alfonso Altamirano, Assistant Attorney General of the region. López was last seen on July 15, when an armed group around 10:00 a.m. kidnapped him from his neighborhood Maestro office in Santiago Juxtlahuaca.
López, a human rights worker for the Center for Assessment and Orientation for Indigenous Communities had been dead for almost six days, according to Altamirano. López body had at least six fatal gun shot wounds.
No one has been arrested in the homicide.
